Memberships

At Long Eaton Pet Sitters, we have a strong commitment to the industry and are constantly in touch and sharing experiences with other pet sitting professionals through membership organisations. We always strive to learn new skills and techniques to enable us to improve our service to our clients. We are currently members of two professional bodies:

Pet Sitters International (PSI)

Founded in 1994 as the first international association

for professional pet sitters, PSI is proud of the

standards it has established in the industry. Patti

Moran created the company with three key principals: Professional Excellence, Outstanding Service and High-Quality Standards. Now, more than decade later, these core beliefs are still the heart of the way PSI does business. As a result, the association has grown into the world's largest organization for professional pet sitters.

Nationwide Associates of Registered Dog Sitters (NARDS)

NARDS mission is to lead in the promotion of excellence

nationally among professional pet sitters and serve as a

voice for this rapidly expanding industry.

RSPCA – Radcliffe Animal Shelter

Long Eaton Pet Sitters is proud to be a Safe Haven supporter of the Radcliffe Animal Shelter in Nottingham. As two of our dogs (Eddie and Jacob) are from this shelter, it’s a cause very close to our hearts. Our donations and support help to provide safe accommodation for some of the 1,200 abandoned or unwanted animals they assist each year until they are rehomed. They desperately need help to keep the shelter running and continue its valuable work.

If you would like to make a donation, no matter how small, please click here. All donations will be gratefully received – thank you.
